For the Commonwealth: ADA Rachael Cohen

For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Today we highlight the work of Assistant District Attorney Rachael Cohen of our Major Trials Unit.

ADA Rachael Cohen secured a conviction of Burglary and two counts of Robbery and Conspiracy for a defendant who participated in a burglary, along with two other people, of a young couple at their family’s corner store in December 2017. ADA Cohen persuaded the jury of the defendant’s guilt against a highly experienced defense attorney. The defendant will be sentenced by the Hon. Timika Lane in May.
