For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to help secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant District Attorney Brooke Swann of our Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit helped secure justice in a case involving a defendant, who was previously convicted of Homicide, found guilty of strangling his then-partner (the incident took place in June of 2020). The defendant is scheduled for sentencing next month by the Hon. Robert Coleman.
