For the Commonwealth highlights the important work our prosecutors are doing to help secure justice in specific cases brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant District Attorney Katrina Wadas of our Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit helped secure justice in a case involving a defendant found guilty by a jury of sexually abusing his girlfriend’s daughter. The victim, who is now 14 years old, testified about the abuse she endured for years. The defendant will be sentenced by the Hon. Anne Marie Coyle in December.
